From platform what type of emails are sent?

There are two different types of emails

  1. Institution E-mails: Mails that admin can compose & send to all or specific category of people.
  2. Platform generated E-mails: Mails that are sent by the platform on a scheduled time or based on some activity of the user.
You can find mail analytics in all these types under the Mailing section on Admin Dashboard. From here can analyze the statistics of any or all emails which has been sent out, their open rate, click rate & complete history. This will help you to calculate the correct circulation of messages going out to your community.

Analytics of Institution E-Mails

You can compose your email`s content under Admin Dashboard > Mailing > Send New. After you are finished choosing mail receivers & writing mail, click on the send. All the emails that has been sent out by you or other admins on any particular date will be visible under Admin Dashboard > Mailing > Mail Analytics.

You can track live statistics of each and every E-mail. These statistics will be segregated and showcased based on the number of emails Sent, Opened and Clicked, by the recipients.

You must observe these numbers to understand your reach and engagement with your alumni.


Analytics of Platform Generated E-Mails

Platform mails are further categorized as Automated E-Mails and Transactional E-Mails. You can find the complete list of such emails under Admin Dashboard > Mailing > Mail Analytics > Platform Generated E-Mails.

Automated Mails are those kinds that are sent at a predefined scheduled time by the system. For e.g., Birthday wish mail, new job openings mail to job seekers, etc.  You have the option to enable/disable any particular email that you like or dislike to forward within your community. As an Admin, you will be having option to customize the content of these emails as well. 

Transactional Mails are of those kinds that are important and of higher priority. Pre-decided triggers are set which will give the platform the authority to send those emails by itself. For e.g., forgot password, payment successful, event registration confirmation, etc.

Your email credits will be used in Institution mails and Automated mails only, none will be used in Transactional mails.
