How to configure platform login through email?

"Platform login through email" is an advanced feature of Almashines Mailing Engine. With this feature, members can auto-login to the platform by clicking links in the email without entering their password. This eases the login process and increases platform activities.

How does this work?
Whenever this feature is used, all platform-links mentioned in the email are converted to a special link. Now when the person clicks on the link, he/she gets logged in to the platform automatically and then the original link opens up.

How to use this feature?
Simply go to Admin Dashboard > Mailing > Mail Configurations, and find the "Platform login through email" section. You can enable/disable the switch from here.


If this switch is enabled, then platform-link in the following mails will get converted to the special link:
  1. Platform generated automated mails (e.g birthday wish mail, new jobs mail, etc)
  2. Platform generated transactional mails (e.g. new message received alert, payment confirmation mail, etc)
  3. Pre-build mail templates for admins (e.g. share the campusfeed, share the poll, share the event, etc)
Note: The mails you (admin) send in bulk which is not a pre-built template, do not have this feature.

If the user shares/forwards an email with such a link to anyone else, that person can also log in to the user's account.
Hence system appends one message automatically to all such emails, informing users to not share/forward this email.
