How to Manage Duplicate Profile Module on the Alumni Portal?
Duplicate Profile Module will enable the Admin in identifying the duplicate profiles of the alumni and solve the same.
Duplicate Profiles are generated when a registered alumni signs up for the alumni portal with a different email id. To take action on the same, go to Admin Dashboard where you can see Duplicate Profiles tab below Community Stats.
Now Follow the path written below to identify and resolve duplicate profiles:
- Click on 'Take Actions' button on Admin Dashboard
- A list of all duplicate profiles will be displayed
- Click 'See Duplicates' button on right of your screen
- Multiple profile details of the Alumni will be displayed
- Below each profile, admin actions are provided
- Keep the most relevant profile and delete the other profiles
- Once the profile is selected, Click the 'Resolve' button below
Consider the below-mentioned points while selecting the most relevant alumni profile:
- Recent last login details
- Maximum social media connects
- Updated profile picture
- Updated data of profiles
