How do campaigns module work?

To keep your community engaging, active and to get best values from members of your community, platform has a unique feature called campaigns. Campaign has a multi-step process where admin can create a campaign, collect responses, and using these responses drive the engagement or plan other activities.


Many institutes are already using campaigns for various purpose. Here are some of the ways by which you can utilize the campaigns:
  1. Plan future activities (e.g. survey - physical or virtual alumni meet, invite alumni as speaker)
  2. Run nostalgic story type campaigns to start with when engagement on platform is very low
  3. Run 1 new campaign each month and publish stories on platform to make it content rich and appealing for members to visit the platform regularly 
  4. Build a series of stories (e.g. Alumni in spotlight of the month, Entrepreneur story of the month, etc.)
  5. Build a series of recognition activity (e.g. alumni awards, notable alumni of the year, etc.)
  6. Run campaigns during a specific season each year (e.g. invite companies for placements, run internship program, etc.)
  7. Wish and celebrate the special days (e.g. Teacher's day, Friendship day, Foundation day, etc.)
  8. Use responses form here for monthly/quarterly/yearly newsletters
These are just examples. You can run any campaign whenever you want and as you want.


Check steps below to understand how campaigns works:
  1. Go to 'Admin Dashboard' > 'Campaigns' page. 
  2. Choose a campaign you want to run from already available templates.
  3. Customize the template as per your need and complete the campaign creation.
  4. Now, automatically a form will get created through which you can collect the responses.
  5. To collect responses, share this form with platform users, batch ambassadors, faculties, etc. and let them know about the campaign.
  6. Whoever fills the form, he/she will get a confirmation mail about their response as well as you(admin) will also get a notification/mail.
  7. You can come to campaigns page on admin dashboard anytime and check all the responses, message individuals, publish stories or download the responses.
  8. To publish stories type responses, simply click on 'Publish' button of particular response and give this story a title. A draft will get created automatically with pre-populated content which you can edit and then publish for all. 
  9. By default a campaign runs for 14 days, but you can increate/decrease this timeline from 1day to infinite timeline, as you want.

Platform has many campaign templates available prebuilt. And based on your suggestions we keep adding more campaign templates regularly. You can request for a customized one for your platform only (*paid service) as well.

Note: If you find campaigns module missing on your platform, make sure you have admin rights to 'Run & Manage Campaigns'.
