What type of content should be created and shared on the alumni portal?
Creating Consumable Content is the key to ensure good Alumni Engagement on the Portal
All we need to ensure while creating a content is that the alumni should be able to relate to it. A piece of content can be created in different formats. Let's go through all the formats in which content can be posted and shared with the Alumni.
- Gallery: Share pictures of any cultural fests, other college events, previous alumni events, graduation day, etc.
- Polls: Polls can be created asking a favorite hangout spot of the college, current area of work or a vote on current affairs topic.
- Campus Feed: Create campus feed or stories on college campus and memories, a story of the notable alumni of the college, an update about a recent event, etc.
- Jobs: You can post jobs that the training and placement unit receives, needing certain years of experience above freshers. Also, you can post about vacancies in the college.
- Discussions: Post any updates about the college or events or start a discussion by posting a question on any topic that could create engagement.
You can create this content easily by logging in to the Alumni Portal with an Admin Id. There you'll see a "Quick Action" tab on the right side of the Admin Dashboard from where you can start creating any of the above-mentioned content types.
